Hi everyone,
Just one week to go now until Pentecost. This is a very important day in the history and life of the Church, the birth of the church as the body of Christ on Earth. We are having 3 baptisms in Paulton on Pentecost Sunday and will be praying for a new wave of the Holy Spirit for our villages and congregations. It would be great to have full churches for Pentecost, so if you have ever been part of our congregations the please come along on the 19th to celebrate the Church’s birthday with us.
This Sunday we will be talking new hearts and sending disciples.
Please pray for:
All those being baptised on Pentecost
For each of us to be filled with God’s spirit
For our reordering projects to be approved on the 15th of May.
Also, you may see a new face around for the next month. We will have Lindsay, a trainee minister but with lots of church experience, joining our services and other activities as she completes her student placement.
There is also the plant sale in Paulton this Saturday morning.
If you want to continue tracking with some of the sermon ideas as they develop I have included some more links to useful content that can help to keep us on the same 'wavelength'. This week, a short funny interview that discusses social media, mental health and how faith can help:

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP. You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.
You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
view the live service and re-watch previous services here: https://www.twitch.tv/holytrinitychurchpaulton
Every blessing to you all.
