St John's, Farrington Gurney
St John the Baptist church is the home of the Church of England in the parish of Farrington Gurney.
We have a small and welcoming community, made up both of village people and those who travel specially to worship in this beautiful and friendly church.
Formerly situated in the centre of the historic village, the church now sits on its own in a landscape of farmed fields, a short distance from the village. Our nearest neighbours are the cows!
Whether you are new to the area or just visiting – or are at a point where you would like to engage more with the church – please come to a service or contact us.
Services
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month:
9:30am - Family Holy Communion
Church Activities
St John’s has regular social events in the village, and meets regularly for worship with our friends at Farrington Gurney Methodist Chapel.
We welcome children and dogs to all our services.
