Sunday Reflection: Christ the King

I hope that you were able to participate in our Remembrance services last week, which were quite moving after having been unable to gather together last week.

This Sunday is the celebration of Christ the King, the final Sunday before we begin Advent. The 9.30am will be at High Littleton and 11am at Paulton. There will a baptism at the 11am service in Paulton so prepare for fun and excitement!

Our Christmas events are now starting to gear up with the High Littleton candle lit supper and the Paulton Carol singing both coming next week. So make sure you get these dates in your diary. See below for more details and a full list of our Christmas dates.

If you want to access resources in the meantime, we have a wealth of materials available.

Discussion groups and morning prayer have now resumed. The discussion group will now be on a Tuesday at 8pm at Holy Trinity Paulton, with the option to join on Zoom if you can’t make it in person.

Our regular pattern of services are now 9.30am High Littleton 1st and 3rd Sundays, Farrington 2nd and 4th Sundays, Paulton 11am and 5pm weekly.

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am, Tuesday in Farrington Gurney, Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 30 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

We will also continue our online offering with sermon videos and audio recordings available as well as being able to view the live service and re-watch previous services here.

This Christmas we are holding a Festival of Stars starting on Friday 26th November. The first event being a Christmas Carol Singalong at 7pm.

Over the month of December, there will be illuminated Christmas displays, entertainment with Paulton Concert Band, children’s activities, a stall, Christmas music, refreshments and of course good company.
