Sunday Reflection: Doing the Word

We are back in church and getting excited about baptisms, singing and starting back our activities. Our services this coming Sunday will be Farrington Gurney at 9.30am and Paulton at 11am. We have a Baptism in Paulton again so please come along and welcome another member into our family. The sermon for the readings will be in the 5pm service.

If you want to access resources in the meantime, we have a wealth of resources available.

Come a join us to gather, pray, sing (metaphorically, but soon actually) and celebrate our freedom as the children of God.

There are many resources available to help you with your spiritual life through each week, including the responses for Sunday if you are joining in on Zoom.

I would still like to encourage you all to join me with is in praying together for some specific points.

Discussion groups and morning prayer will Resume week commencing 6th of September. The discussion group will now be on a Tuesday at 8pm at Holy Trinity Paulton, with the option to join on Zoom if you can’t make it in person.

Or regular pattern of services are now 9.30am High Littleton 1st and 3rd Sundays, Farrington 2nd and 4th Sundays, Paulton 11am and 5pm weekly.

We will also continue our online offering with sermon videos and audio recordings available as well as being able to view the live service and re-watch previous services here.

Harvest Appeals weekend

You are warmly invited to join us for a weekend of activities and music as we endeavor to raise the last part of the money needed to repair the Church clock and refurbish the Church organ

Friday 17th September. Join us at 7pm to sing ‘The Top 20 Lockdown Hymns’ chosen by members of the congregation.

Saturday 18th September Breakfast and organ music is available from 9.30-12noon. At 11am you can take a tour of Holy Trinity Church Tower

Between 2pm to 4pm there are more tower tours, Autumn crafts for children, tea and cake for everyone and more organ music to listen to.

There is also an afternoon craft workshop for adults at which you can use wheat stalks to create a beautifully woven straw Harvest Blessing. This workshop needs to be booked and will cost £10. (Reserve your place 01761 419498)

On Sunday 19th September we will be celebrating Harvest. The morning service will be followed by a bring and share Harvest Lunch
