We had a wonderful time on Sunday morning having our first communion services together. This coming Sunday will see Farrington Gurney begin its communion as well. We will continue to celebrate, to extend and develop our services to make them as accessible as possible.
I would still like to encouraging you to come and gather with us in person as the preferred option, unless you need to continue shielding. We will be wearing masks and maintaining social distance within the church and there is plenty of space for both adults and children.
There is nothing to download and no password is needed, you will be able to see the service, the song words and the words of the liturgy all in one place. Hopefully with much better sound quality too! So you will no longer need service sheets or hymn sheets.
Our pattern of services for Sunday is currently:
- 9.30am Communion – High Littleton church (1st and 3rd Sundays) Farrington church (2nd and 4th Sundays)
- 11am Communion service at Holy Trinity Paulton and online
- 5pm Service of the Word at Holy Trinity Paulton.
All the services will last around 30 minutes – there is no singing in the church services or communion at the moment. We hope to see you all in church or online again soon.
The readings for this week are taken from the Sunday Worship Survival Kit.
You are also welcome to join us for our weekly discussion groups where we dig a bit deeper into the readings and the sermon – Just email Adam and ask to join – Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night.
The church prayer times are now: Farrington Gurney on Tuesdays, Paulton on Wednesdays and High Littleton on Thursdays, open from 9.30am for quiet prayer and 10am for morning prayer.
