The readings for this week can be found on the Sunday Worship Survival Kit.

This week, intercessions have been provided by Chris in Paulton:

Heavenly Father,
Rejoicing in your blessings,
trusting in your loving care for all,
we bring you our prayers for the world.

We pray for those who are facing injustice, prejudice and poverty – may they know of your strength and know that we do not face these storms alone. Let us be reminded that we are all united as God’s people.

We give thanks for our gardens and green spaces. With the changing weather and the blossoming of life around us, may have time to stop and see the beauty of God’s brushstrokes in all that is around us.

In these challenging times, help us to continue to see the good in our communities. Help support those feeling anxious or isolated and bring hope to those who are sick.

We pray for all those putting themselves in harm’s way during the coronavirus crisis. May You give them the strength to continue and help them in their times of most need.

Let us pray that our church can continue to find new ways to reach out and engage with our communities and be a true representation of Your Good News.

We pray that we are all able to offer what we can to better serve You, Lord.

Merciful Father, accept these prayers for the sake of your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
