Sunday Reflection: Prepare the Way

We are now fully in the season of Advent, and have now moved out of lockdown. However, In light of the current Tier 2 restrictions and the pressures being faced by our associated schools and congregation members we have decided that we will not resume our in person gatherings this Christmas, but continue to deliver services online.

Whilst we are all very disappointed not to be able to celebrate in our traditional way, we want to take this opportunity to look outwards and serve our communities, helping everyone to celebrate Christmas safely this year.

We will continue to broadcast the services live using Twitch but if you want to join in with the responses in the service you will need to use Zoom

This Sunday will be a Remembrance service following the British Legion liturgy.

The readings for this week are taken from the Sunday Worship Survival Kit.

You are also welcome to join us for our weekly discussion groups where we dig a bit deeper into the readings and the sermon – Just email Adam and ask to join – Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night.

The church prayer times are now: Farrington Gurney on Tuesdays, Paulton on Wednesdays and High Littleton on Thursdays, open from 9.30am for quiet prayer and 10am for morning prayer.
