Sunday Reflection: Thinking About Church

As you hopefully know, In light of the current Tier 2 restrictions and the pressures being faced by our associated schools and congregation members we have decided that we will not resume our in person gatherings at the moment, but continue to deliver services online. We will review our practices again soon, taking into account local infection rates and the latest guidance.

This will be the first service of 2021 and I would like to take the opportunity to set out a bit of thinking about God and church to guide us through the next year. This will be a great time to join our Discussion Groups and start to explore some ideas more deeply.

We have also produced some Prayer Cards, which can be downloaded here.

We will continue to broadcast the services live using Twitch but if you want to join in with the responses in the service you will need to use Zoom.

The readings for this week are taken from the Sunday Worship Survival Kit.

You are also welcome to join us for our weekly discussion groups where we dig a bit deeper into the readings and the sermon – Just email Adam and ask to join – Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night.

The church prayer times are now: Farrington Gurney on Tuesdays, Paulton on Wednesdays and High Littleton on Thursdays, open from 9.30am for quiet prayer and 10am for morning prayer.
