We had a wonderful time doing an actual communion service at High Littleton last Sunday. The online service this Sunday will be pre-recorded again as we are opening Farrington Gurney church, so you are welcome to join us there or watch pre-recorded one using the link I will send on Sunday morning. There is no ZOOM this week again.
The plant sale in Paulton was a great success and raised £522.93, we are now planning further events.
During the Summer months they are aiming to host a number of High Teas at Holy Trinity Church Paulton. Starting at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, we invite you to bring family and friends. We will be catering for 30 people at a time. Admission is by ticket only. Donations to Church funds appreciated.
The first tea, will be a Special Father’s Day High Tea on Saturday 19th June. The second will take place on Saturday 10th July. Book now through Kathy or Susan as there are only 30 places each session.
As well as enjoying this event with your family and friends, we would be looking for willing volunteers to help at one or more of the events.
We have now resumed morning prayer in our churches from this week. Tuesdays in Farrington Gurney, Wednesdays in Paulton and Thursdays in High Littleton. The churches will be open from 9.30am for quiet reflection and there will be morning prayer from 10am. Masks and social distancing will be in effect for these services.
We will open each church in sequence with a service and APCM where the main focus of discussion will be re-ordering of the buildings to make us fit for future growth.
High Littleton will opened from the 16th of May at 9.30am (there will be a pre-recorded service available online this Sunday)
This Sunday: Farrington will open from the 23rd of May at 9.30am (Pentecost) – (there will be a pre-recorded service available online this Sunday)
There will be a 9.30am service at High Littleton on the 30th of May and then Paulton will open at 11am (also online)
There are many resources available to help you with your spiritual life through each week, including the responses for Sunday if you are joining in on Zoom.
I would still like to encourage you all to join me with is in praying together for some specific points.
