Hi everyone,

We are now one week into Lent and I hope that you are starting to feel the pull of God amongst the test and temptation of the challenge you have set for this period.

We had a wonderful first Sunday of Lent, and a huge thanks to all those who made food and helped with serving. And thanks also to everyone who helped at the Messy Church on Wednesday. It was a really busy event and we made some great contact with new families, letting even more people enjoy the church and hear the gospel.

This Thursday in Paulton we begin our Lent communion service and Bible study lunch every Thursday. The service will begin at 12 noon and we can eat together and read through the book of Colossians from 12.30pm onwards. This is a great time to reflect quietly with God and gather with others to get more understanding of this great letter together.

Also, on Saturday 28th February 7pm, we have our ‘Favorite Hymns & Music’ evening In aid of Holy Trinity Church organ refurbishment fund. Please do come along and support this project.

And Sunday is the 1st of the month again, so we will have all our family services and our Engine Room prayer time on Sunday evening (8pm Holy Trinity Paulton).

We are looking for people to sign up for safeguarding training, and also for posy making for Mothering Sunday. You can use these links to sign up:

There will be lots of other events to keep up with over the Easter period so please be sure to keep and eye out.

Bless you and see you soon,

Adam

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
