Hi everyone,

Another quick update this week.

Tonight at 7.30pm is ‘Dig In’ question time in Paulton so please come along with all your questions and we can learn from them together.

Wednesday at 8pm is ‘Theology on Tap’ at the Farrington Inn, where we can discuss the Romans series so far and maybe a little of the interesting theology behind the company Palantir (see 'wavelength' for more details).

This Sunday will be my last one before I go on holiday for two weeks and it’s family service in all three churches, 10am High Littleton, 11am Paulton, 3pm Farrington. We will be looking at Romans chapter 12 and living life as a Christian  I will then leave you in Rosanna and Jeremy's capable hands to finish off our Romans series. When I return we will get into the book of Acts.

Also 8pm Sunday in Paulton is the 'Engine Room' prayer time to pray for God's leading in our churches and communities.

There is still time to donate to the re-ordering in Paulton. If you are in a position to support this transformation of the worship space in the church then you can use the details below:

COMING UP...

Knit and Natter meet in the back room of Paulton church on the first Wednesday of each month from 2 to 4pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday 2nd September 2026. Please note that there is no meeting in August.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and have a good natter!

TGIF is on every Friday and Monday from 10am to 11.30am for coffee, cake, playtime and good chatting - you can find the latest details on Facebook here. (Not during the school holidays)

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer

Every blessing to you all.
