Hi everyone,
It’s the first Sunday of the month again this week and so we have all our family services again. The ‘Come to Life’ service in High Littleton is at 10am, we have 11am in Paulton with Edna preaching on changing minds, attitudes and lifestyle, and then 3pm in Farrington for ‘Tea at 3’. Please be sure to invite new families along to these services as they are a great opportunity to explore church in an accessible and fun way.
Also, this Sunday evening at 8pm in Paulton is the ‘Engine Room’ prayer session. You are welcome to join us to pray for God’s work in our churches and communities.
Christian Aid week is coming up on the 11th of May so please get your donations ready.
We are now building towards Pentecost and I would urge you all to begin a time of praying for the Holy Spirit to be free to move in our churches. You can pray this each day:
Saint Augustine's Prayer:
"Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy,"
See you soon,
Adam

If you want to continue tracking with some of the sermon ideas as they develop I have included some more links to useful content that can help to keep us on the same 'wavelength'. This week , a link to resources on the Holy Spirit:
Looking for wisdom - The Bible project
Jesus perspective on wealth in 6 minutes
Zephaniah 3.14-end, Acts 9.1-6, and John 21.1-19
See all below for all the other details of our groups and upcoming events.
Next Sunday we will be meeting at 10am in High Littleton, 11am in Paulton and 3pm in Farrington.
If you want to access resources in the meantime, we have a wealth of materials available.
You can use the YouTube link to get yourself tuned up and ready to sing with us on Sunday.

If you don't feel able to attend in person, we will continue to provide online worship options as well. The link to Twitch is at the bottom of this email.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP. You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.
You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
view the live service and re-watch previous services here: https://www.twitch.tv/holytrinitychurchpaulton
Every blessing to you all.
