Sunday Service Update: 08/03/2026

Hi everyone,

This Sunday we are continuing our series on renewing our minds by thinking about the role of the church (all of us gathered together) out in the world. There is the William Temple quote that "The Church is the only organization that exists for its non-members". Building on the exploration of discipleship we did last Sunday we will think about the call and challenge of working this out in the places we live.

Coming up soon we have Messy Church on Wednesday 18th of February 3-5pm

And we are also beginning our Lent activities with a simple soup lunch after the 11am service in Paulton on the 22nd of February

Following this we will have a simple communion service and Bible study lunch every Thursday. The service will begin at 12 noon and we can eat together and read through the book of Colossians from 12.30pm onwards. This is a great time to reflect quietly with God and gather with others to get more understanding of this great letter together.

Don’t forget, Men in Shed (8pm Red Lion Paulton) and Filling Station in Peasdown are both on tonight.

You can find out more about the Filling Station here: https://thefillingstation.org/station/south-bath/

Bless you and see you soon,

Adam

COMING UP...

Knit and Natter meet in the back room of Paulton church on the first Wednesday of each month from 2 to 4pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday 4 th March 2026.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and have a good natter!

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
