Hi everyone,

Quiet week this week now that Easter is out the way, but thanks again to everyone who helped with all the activities.

We have now begun the build up to Pentecost with our series on the Holy Spirit. Rosanna gave a great introduction to this last week, so catch up if you missed it before we dive into this Sunday looking at how the Spirit restores creation.

We have had some quite busy Sunday’s with lot’s of children recently and we really want all children and teens to feel welcome and to provide activities that they will enjoy.  At the moment we are able to provide craft activities in the back room from after the Bible Cartoon until prayers, parents/carers are also really welcome to join if they wish.  But could we just remind families that outside of this time the room is not supervised and to ensure that we keep to good safeguarding practice it would help us if you are able to keep your children in the main body of the church. There will be activities on the two large tables, toys for younger children and playdough etc at the back sofa areas.  If there are other things we can provide, do let us know!  We appreciate that sometimes a parent will need to take a child out to the back room, but please could you stay with them and encourage other children from other families to stay with their parents. Thank you.

Also, this Saturday we have been invited to join an Easter Garden Party at Rocklands, Farrington Road Paulton. Saturday 18th April 2pm. There will be refreshments, pancakes and games. For more info contact Jean Maggs on 07974849378

Bless you and see you soon,

Adam

Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and have a good natter!

TGIF is on every Friday and Monday from 10am to 11.30am for coffee, cake, playtime and good chatting - you can find the latest details on Facebook here. (Not during the school holidays)

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
