Hi everyone,
Today is the beginning of Lent and our journey as disciples in the wilderness, looking forward to Easter.
If you have not settled on a path through lent yet, you can find a guide to practical action here: https://www.stewardship.org.uk/40acts. And support for spiritual meditation here: https://lectio365.com/lent/#resources
And we are also beginning our Lent activities with a simple soup lunch after the 11am service in Paulton on the 22nd of February.
Following this we will have a simple Lent communion service and Bible study lunch every Thursday. The service will begin at 12 noon and we can eat together and read through the book of Colossians from 12.30pm onwards. This is a great time to reflect quietly with God and gather with others to get more understanding of this great letter together.
Don’t forget we have Messy Church today (Wednesday 18th of February) 3-5pm
Also Rosanna will be starting a Thursday evening Bible study beginning on the 19th at 7.30pm, email revrosanna@outlook.com for more information
Bless you and see you soon,
Adam

Knit and Natter meet in the back room of Paulton church on the first Wednesday of each month from 2 to 4pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday 4 th March 2026.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and have a good natter!

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.
The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP. You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.
You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
view the live service and re-watch previous services here: https://www.twitch.tv/holytrinitychurchpaulton
Every blessing to you all.
