Hi everyone,

We are coming around to the beginning of another month and our family services in all 3 churches, 10am in High Littleton, 11am in Paulton and 3pm in Farrington. We are also having the ‘Engine Room’ prayer time in Paulton at 8pm on Sunday, if you want to join us for an open time of prayer and praise for all that God is doing in our churches and communities.

We will be meeting in the Church for ‘Dig In’ tonight at 8pm to chat over your questions - There is no ‘Men in Shed’ as the Red Lion is closed this evening.

Also don't forget our Thursday, midday communion in Paulton 12 noon, followed by a shared meal and Bible study. And also creative prayer in Paulton on Thursday at 7pm.

This week we are continuing the series on the Holy Spirit, exploring its role as teacher in our lives. Last week Jeremy spoke about the invitation of the Holy Spirit and has shared some of the material that inspired his talk, if you would like to learn more:

Tim Mackie: Come Holy Spirit

Simon Guillebaud: Faith over Fear

Hugh Palmer, All Souls, Langham Place: The Spirit of Mission

Please pray with us for our current and upcoming events, Alpha on Tuesday nights, Plant sale on the 23rd may, baptisms on Pentecost and the community meal 24th May.

And finally CHRISTIAN AID WEEK is coming up, 10th – 16th May. Your donations will be much appreciated.

Please take an envelope from church and return by Sunday 17 th May

See you soon,

Adam

COMING UP...

Knit and Natter meet in the back room of Paulton church on the first Wednesday of each month from 2 to 4pm. The next meeting is on Wednesday 6th May 2026.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the group, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake and have a good natter!

TGIF is on every Friday and Monday from 10am to 11.30am for coffee, cake, playtime and good chatting - you can find the latest details on Facebook here. (Not during the school holidays)

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer

Every blessing to you all.
