Hi everyone,

We are now into July and heading towards our summer break. Thanks to everyone who made last weekend so fantastic, all those who were involved in Party in the Park and everyone who came along to the christening and made that event so special.

This Sunday is on the theme of Jesus calming the storm, and Lindsay will be preaching as it is the end of her placement with us.

Also, coming up we have our ‘Thankyou Day’ celebration in High Littleton Church Hall on Sunday 7th from 2pm to 4pm. We also have the Engine Room prayer time on Sunday evening at 8pm in Holy Trinity Paulton if you would like to join us to pray for our churches and communities.

Me, my family and others from the church will be away camping at New Wine Christian Festival from 25th to the 30th of July. If you would like to join us there on the Sunday to worship together on a big scale you can get a day ticket here:

Alternatively there will be the Deanery service in St John’s Midsomer Norton on 28th July, so there will be no services in our churches.

After that I am on holiday in France for two weeks and so will be out of contact. Whilst I am away we will have Benefice services together in Paulton on the 4th and 11th of August with sermons from the preaching team and maybe a little less dancing :)

Morning prayer is taking place at 9.30am Wednesday in Paulton and Thursday in High Littleton. It begins with 15 minutes of quiet reflection, followed by Common Worship morning prayer.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer

Every blessing to you all.
